This second issue of The Voice of Teachers focuses on the role of educators and education in the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals. It contains proceedings from the First International Conference of Educators on the Role of Education in Achieving the Millennium Development Goals, co-organized by the Africa Regional Chapter of Teachers Without Borders and the Gombe State Ministry of Education in Nigeria. The conference took place on November 3-7, 2008 in Gombe, Nigeria.
